Requirements for Traveling to Peru After Covid-19

Covid-19 has changed many characteristics of life in general. Sometimes we are no longer sure of what the requirements are for each country to receive foreign visitors. Let’s start with the income flight, no matter where you are coming from, you will need either two things for entering the country. A negative Covid-19 test with no more than 48 hours to be taken. Or to demonstrate your vaccination schedule to your age to be in order. For starter, kids younger than 12 years won’t need any permit, over that range other kids from 12 to 18 years needs to indicate 2 vaccines, and people older than 18 need to indicate 3 vaccines. Likewise, during the transfer to Peru and in closed spaces, passengers must use adequate respiratory protection (double mask or a mask with high filtration capacity: N95, KN95, etc.), plastic protectors are no longer required. Remember that if you are entering the country through a land border the requirements could a bit different. If you have the vaccine schedule completed it’s more likely for you not to have any inconvenience entering any place included in you tour in Peru, but remember, that most public places required vaccine certification for entering, like banks or malls for example.
